MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program will launch its Winter StoryWalk next month, where you can learn that skating isn’t just for people.
Throughout the year the program collaborates with the Medicine Hat Public Library on StoryWalks in Police Point Park to support outdoor learning opportunities and encourage fun, out-loud reading to reinforce literacy skills.
The chosen book for this walk is Mice Skating by Annie Silvestro. The walk launches on Jan. 27 and will be available until Feb. 28. When you’ve completed the walk you may receive a prize coupon that can be redeemed at the library. Coupons will only be available during the nature centre’s regular business hours after launch day.
