YMCA hosting a volunteer fair tonight

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The YMCA of Medicine Hat is hosting a volunteer fair today from 5-7 p.m. at the downtown branch.
As a charity, the Y is supported by volunteers who teach group fitness classes, carry out administrative tasks, greet and engage with gym members, assist in various programs, and help keep facilities clean.
The event is an opportunity for anyone interested in volunteering to learn more about the YMCA and the positions available. These include: group fitness instructor, climbing wall volunteer, janitorial volunteers, youth program volunteers, tutoring volunteers, and special event volunteers.
All volunteers receive orientation and training and any volunteer who works four or more hours per month receives a complimentary Health Plus gym membership and have access to other benefits.
