MEDICINE HAT, AB – In April of this year, Drew Barnes celebrated 10 years as MLA for Cypress-Medicine Hat. In all that time he’s always had a lot to say defending his constituents and Alberta as a whole.
Right now the hot topic is the United Conservative Party’s sovereignty act, passed in the legislature this week. Barnes says it’s a needed move by the Alberta government.
Barnes joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the sovereignty act and fairness for Alberta from Ottawa, what the holiday season means to him and his political future.
