MEDICINE HAT — Medicine Hat Firefighters and City Police are on scene of a structure fire in downtown Medicine Hat.
Contrary to earlier reports, the fire was not one of the two apartment buildings across from the provincial building on Third Street but was further up the block toward Division Avenue.
The alarm was called in shortly after 5 a.m, and city firefighters remain on scene as of 8 a.m.
City police say there were no evacuations necessary due to the fire.
