MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers played the final game of their busy weekend losing 4-2, to the Prince Albert Raiders.

Starting goaltenders Beckett Langkow for the Tabbies, and Tikhon Chaika for the Raiders owned the first period.

Langkow faced 12 shots and Chaika faced 9, both stopping them all to keep the game 0-0 headed into the second period.

It would be the Tigers who finally opened up the scoring, thanks to the 10th goal of the season for Oasiz Wiesblatt.

Although from that point on it would be all Prince Albert, exploding with 4 goals of their own in the second. They were scored by Cole Peardon, Sloan Stanick, Evan Herman and Stanick once again in that order.

For the Raiders forward Stanick, he now has 9 points against Medicine Hat this season after acquiring 6 in their prior 2 games.

Prince Albert would remain quiet throughout the third, and Dallon Melin would get the Tigers back within 2 on his 5th goal of the season.

The Tabbies wouldn’t be able to find the goals they needed, and would ultimately fall 4-2. This loss gives them an 0-3 record against Prince Albert this season.
