Blowing snow advisories and winter storm warnings for the southern Prairies this morning

MEDICINE HAT — A system moving across the prairies has prompted Environment Canada to issue blowing snow advisories for southern areas, while winter storm warnings are posted for central areas.
Medicine Hat is under the blowing snow advisory, which stretches east to include Leader, Maple Creek and Swift Current areas.
North of there, the winter storm warnings cover Oyen, Kindersley and areas to the east.
Visibility can be reduced suddenly in blowing snow, making travel a hazard.
