Pregame: Raiders at Tigers

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are at home for the final matchup of their three game weekend, against the Prince Albert Raiders.

The Tabbies have played the Raiders in 2 prior games this season, the first was a 3-1 loss at home and the second was a 5-4 loss in Prince Albert.

Although in those losses Tiger forward Andrew Basha had 3 points. As well Tyler Mackenzie has 2 points against the Raiders this year.

Prince Albert also has a couple players who have been succesful against Medicine Hat, like Sloan Stanick who had 6 points in the two games. As well Landon Kosior who has 3 points against the Tigers this season.

Both of them sit at the top of the Raiders in points, with Kosior having 23 total and Stanick at 22.

Prince Albert last played Saturday, where they suffered a 6-1 loss to the Red Deer Rebels. Notably it was the Tigers who came out victorious over Red Deer Friday night in a shootout.

If Medicine Hat is able to claim a victory in Sunday’s game they will move their way back into 8th in the eastern conference. Were they to suffer a loss, then the Raiders would jump the Tigers in the standings to claim 8th themselves.
