Medicine Hat residents charged in connection with rash of break and enters
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Three people from Medicine Hat are facing numerous charges stemming from a rash of break-and-enters that occurred throughout the Municipal District of Acadia in late October.
Oyen RCMP says multiple businesses and residences were entered and property was stolen, including multiple vehicles, ATVs and a trailer. One of the homes was occupied by the residents at the time of the break-in.
RCMP also located and seized an abandoned vehicle containing eight stolen firearms among other property. They have also recovered 3 vehicles, 3 trailers, and 4 ATVs.
The suspects were arrested during a traffic stop on Highway 41 after RCMP received reports of a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the highway.
