Something For Everyone Christmas Market open at the Stampede Grounds

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Something For Everyone Christmas Market is underway from the auditorium, at the Stampede Grounds.

This is the 12th year the market has been in Medicine Hat, hosting upwards of 90 vendors from both Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Coordinator Monica Kallis says in the first day of the market they did over 1900 people through the door, and have had over 300 in the first hour they have been open Sunday.

“I enjoy all the vendors, they put so much hard work into their booths and displays” she says.

Kallis mentioned there has been one vendor at the market who has been there for the entire 12 years it has been running.

Angelique Doyle is that vendor from Keys to Hope counseling services. She says she continues to return to the market because of the kindness, and organization of Kallis’s team.

“People are starting to know this is a regular thing that happens in Medicine Hat, so I think it’s something people have started looking for every year” she says.

The Christmas market will be open until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, and is free for anyone to attend.
