MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are in action Saturday for the second half of their Saskatchewan road trip, against the Prince Albert Raiders.

The Tabbies are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss against the Saskatoon Blades, in which their record moved to 6-9-4-1 on the season.

The two squads have met in one prior contest back on Nov. 8, where the Raiders were victorious at Co-Op Place 3-1. The loan goal for Medicine Hat was scored by Tyler Mackenzie.

Prince Albert is being piloted offensively by both their forward and defence groups. Right wing Carson Latimer is tied for the team lead in points at 19, and the man he is level with is defenceman Landon Kosior.

Latimer does hold the better points per game average, as he has played one less game than Kosior this season.

For the Tigers they come in with Brendan Lee and Andrew Basha tied for the team lead in points, with 19 each. Oasiz Wiesblatt is also not far out of that conversation with 17 points of his own.

If Medicine Hat is able to grab a victory in tonights contest, they would move into soul possession of 8th place in the eastern conference. That meaning they would be in a playoff spot, and only trailing the next move up in the standings by a single point.

Puck Drop is at 6:00 p.m. from the Art Hauser Centre, and you can hear all the action live on Wild 94.5 with voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli.
