MEDICINE HAT, AB – One man is dead following a house fire in Medicine Hat over the weekend.
Members of Medicine Hat Fire Services and Medicine Hat Police Service responded to a residential fire in the 800 block of Ninth Street SE in the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 12.
Police say that during the investigation the remains of a 54-year-old male were found in the home. The circumstances of the death do not appear to be criminal in nature, police say, but the MHPS Criminal Investigation Section is continuing the investigation.
