Medicine Hat, AB–November is Family Violence Prevention Month.

Here in Medicine Hat, purple ribbons were tied around trees downtown to raise awareness around the issue.

Natasha Carvalho is the Executive Director of the Women’s Shelter and she joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to encourage more open conversations about Family Violence in an attempt to end the stigma around it.
