MEDICINE HAT, AB – Finding a job takes a lot more than just looking at postings and dropping off resumes. Finding workers takes more than posting a job and waiting for resumes to come in.
Medicine Hat College aims to bridge that gap by hosting a full Career Expo in the college’s Centennial Hall on Oct. 26.
Shelly Drefs, student career services assistant at MHC joined Gates Guarin on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the expo, the excitement among the students and which industries will be represented by the close to 50 exhibitors at the expo, which is open to students and the public.
