MEDICINE HAT, AB – The push to build a new performing arts centre at Monsignor McCoy High School got a big boost this summer and will get another from the same source later this month.

An anonymous donor gave $10,000 to the project this summer a offered a matching day during which the donor will match all donations given in a 24-hour period.

Helen Snortland, vice-president of Friends of McCoy Society, joined Gates Guarin on CHAT News at Noon to talk about matching day on Oct. 21, how schools in the Catholic system are helping and how the community can support as well.
