Rattlers Roundup: Women’s soccer team gets first win of the season

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat College Rattlers women’s soccer team put its first mark of the season in the win column this weekend.

Tied 1-1 at the half, the Rattlers dominated the rest of the way to score a 6-2 win over the visiting Ambrose Lions on Sunday.

On Friday, the Rattlers dropped a 3-0 decision to the Lethbridge Kodiaks.

The men’s soccer team went 0-1-1 this weekend, tying the Ambrose Lions 2-2 on Sunday after getting the same result as the women’s team on Friday, a 3-0 loss to the Kodiaks.

The Rattlers cross-country team was in Edmonton for ACAC Grand Prix #3. The women’s team placed second led by Becky Ross and Madison Scrimger finishing third and fourth, respectively.
