Giddy-up: Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Show ready to ride

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The third annual Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry and Western Music Show goes Saturday, bringing together poets, musicians and a group of dogs for the event at the Medicine Hat High School Theatre.

It starts at 4:45 p.m. with music and poems from locals, then at 5:30 p.m. Meliora Service Dogs will show off their skills and abilities.

The main show starts at 7 p.m. when performers like News Mixed Company, Morley Thorpe, Resse and Morgan Klaiber and more will take the stage.

Door prizes, a silent auction and food trucks will also be part of the festivities.

Tickets are available at Hale Hearing in Co-op Mall or Medicine Hat Auction Supply Store.
