MEDICINE HAT, AB – Thursday, Sept. 15 is one of the biggest days of the year for Melissa Mullis, the executive director of the Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub.

Tomorrow is Brown Bag Lunch Day, where she and a host of others, including CHAT 94.5, will be at the 13th Avenue Co-op collecting donations for the Brown Bag Lunch program which ensures children in our community have nutritious lunches to take to school. People will also be collecting at the Northlands Co-op grocery store.

Mullis joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to discuss what’s in a Brown Bag Lunch, the growing number of children being fed through the program and the best ways you can help the Root Cellar’s programs.
