Stabbing suspect Myles Sanderson not found on James Smith Cree Nation: RCMP
Saskatchewan RCMP have issued an alert saying that Myles Sanderson, the suspect in multiple fatal stabbings over the Labour Day weekend, is not on James Smith Cree Nation.
RCMP investigated after reports of a possible sighting of Sanderson earlier on Tuesday. An emergency alert was issued warning those in the area and telling them to seek shelter.
As Sanderson’s whereabouts are still unknown, RCMP say the emergency alert is active for the entire province and urge the public to take appropriate precautions.
Sanderson is wanted as a suspect in the stabbings on Sunday that left 10 people dead and 18 wounded on the James Smith Cree Nation and the village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon.
