Saskatchewan parks getting upgrades from province

Sep 6, 2022 | 11:40 AM

The Saskatchewan government says it’s putting more than $13 million into improving provincial parks.

Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross says campers and day-use visitors are always top of mind when it comes to investing in park facility and infrastructure improvements.

She says there will be improvements to washrooms, docks, day-use facilities and signage.

In addition, there will be new campground service centres at Saskatchewan Landing and Duck Mountain provincial parks, electrical service improvements at Greenwater and Moose Mountain provincial parks, and boat launch upgrades at Douglas Provincial Park.
