One in custody following ‘rash’ of overnight break and enters: MHPS

MEDICINE HAT, AB, – Police are asking for help from the public following what they call a rash of break and enters in three city neighbourhoods.
According to Medicine Hat Police Service, the break and enters happened in the Ross Glen, East Glen and Crestwood areas of the city during the evening of Aug. 31 and early morning hours of Sept. 1. Both residential and commercial properties were broken into.
Police are requesting anyone who has been impacted and has not yet filed a report to contact the MHPS by calling the non-emergency line at 403-529-8481.
A male is custody for multiple offences. Police say more information on the crimes will be released once the investigation is complete.
