MHPS: take photos of your children before going to large gatherings

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City police have a piece of advice ahead of Canada Day celebrations tomorrow.
Police encourage parents or guardians to take a photo of their child or children before going to the festivities or any other large gathering this summer.
Children can often be distracted by the displays, vendors and large crowds, causing them to wander away.
“Having a photo of your child in their current clothing and hairstyle, etc., greatly assists police and event organizers in finding your child, and returning them to you promptly,” say police.
