5 year parade kicks off day two of Redcliff Days
REDCLIFF, AB – Day two of Redcliff Days kicked off this morning with a parade that only happens once every five years.
Cars, horses, firetrucks and wagons were just some of the entries in the parade that travelled along Broadway Avenue. 55 groups participated in the procession, including the Medicine Hat Stampede Queen and princesses, the Legion, Girl Guides and Redcliff Tinytots.
The second day of the three day event continued with a show and shine, free swimming and a basketball tournament. Tonight’s activities include live music and a movie in the park.
Municipal manager Phyllis Forsyth says Redcliff Days is an opportunity to gather and celebrate the town and everyone who lives there.
