Collision at Trans-Canada Highway and Seventh Street SW

UPDATE 11:45 a.m.: According to police a 2018 Hyundai Tucson travelling eastbound on Highway 1 collided with two stopped vehicles. Three persons were transported to the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital with undetermined, non-life-threatening injuries.

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City police say emergency crews are at the scene of a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway on Friday morning.

The three-vehicle crash, which caused at least one to roll over, is at Highway 1 and Seventh Street SW. Eastbound traffic is down to one lane.

Police say there were no serious injuries.

They suggest motorists avoid the area completely so that EMS and fire services personnel have room to work.

Traffic control personnel are on scene.

Police say more details will be provided at the conclusion of the police investigation.
