Wind warnings are in effect in southeastern Alberta on Thursday.
Environment Canada issued the warning just before 3:30 p.m. for its Medicine Hat-Bow Island-Suffield, Cypress Hills Provincial Park-Foremost and Brooks-Strathmore-Vulcan areas.
The agency says strong winds gusting up to 90 km/h will diminish early this evening.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
