Spray parks, outdoor pools opening soon
MEDICINE HAT, AB – The city says work starts today to get spray parks open for the season, and that two outdoor pools will open in early June.
Crews will begin testing at the spray parks in Strathcona Island Park and Central Park today. Testing will start at the Ross Glen Towne Centre and Saamis Rotary Park spray areas on May 24.
The city says people may see water features turned on temporarily during testing.
The areas in Strathcona Island Park and Central Park are expected to open on May 20, with the other two set for opening on June 3. Spray parks are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
