Emergency crews respond to crash along Trans-Canada Highway

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Police, fire and ambulance were on the scene of a car crash along the Trans-Canada Highway Sunday afternoon, near the Red Deer Drive turnoff.

According to acting platoon chief Gerald Bodnaruk, four vehicles were involved in the crash, including one semi-truck, and extraction was required for one of the passengers inside.

There is no word yet of any injuries.

Traffic was backed up along the westbound lanes, as crews investigated the crash.
