Application for Coutts arrest documents to be unsealed adjourned two weeks

An application made to the courts to have legal documents related to the Coutts border blockade earlier this year unsealed has been adjourned until next month.

Global News has joined the CBC, Postmedia, CTV News and the Globe and Mail in requesting information relating to search warrants issued for the four men facing the “conspiracy to commit murder” charge during February’s illegal blockade at the Canada-U.S. border crossing.

The media organizations want to have access to the information that was used to obtain search warrants that ultimately led to the conspiracy charges against Christopher Lysak, Anthony Olienick, Jerry Morin and Chris Carbert.

The media organizations also want to make the information public.
