Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta celebrating 30 years

Mar 15, 2022 | 11:56 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s been three decades since the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta started supporting our region.

To celebrate, there are a lot of things planned for this year.

On June 8 from 4 to 6:30 p.m., the community is invited to a celebration event at the Carriage House on the Stampede grounds for stories, cake and live music.

Throughout the year, CFSEA will also be sharing donor and volunteer impact stories through their social media and website.

Acting executive director Niki Gray says they want to continue supporting communities across southeast Alberta for the next 30 years and beyond. Their vital signs event last year helped determine the granting priorities for this year.

“Especially as we come out of the pandemic, the ongoing support for mental health and youth and our vulnerable populations is going to continue for the next little while until we can kind of get back to where we were pre-pandemic,” Gray said.

CFSEA also aims to sign up 30 more monthly donors by the end of 2022.
