Power and natural gas prices ease somewhat in Medicine Hat for March

MEDICINE HAT — The March electricity rate for residential customers not on a fixed rate plan is dropping dramatically in Medicine Hat this month.

The city of Medicine Hat has set the price at $0.10723 per kilowatt hour, down from the previous month of $0.16183 per kilowatt hour.

The city’s fixed rate option for electricity is $0.0800 per kilowatt hour.

The city is also lowering the price for a gigajoule of natural gas in March.
