3D Archery Provincials coming to Cypress Centre this weekend

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Another championship competition is coming to Medicine Hat this month.

3D archery provincials are set to take place this weekend at the Cypress Centre.

The Medicine Hat Archery Club is expecting 200 athletes from across Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan and Montana. The club will have 30 local athletes competing.

There are different classes depending on equipment and athletes will range in age from kids to 70 plus.

The last provincials were here in 2020 and club president Dan David is excited about hosting once again

“It’s a pride thing too because our club works very hard. We’ve got an unbelievable group of people working hard to do this, these are all volunteers,” David said. “They don’t have to do this but they want to but they love the sport and want to advance it and make it better for everyone.”
