Maybe housing wouldn’t be so costly if realtors didn’t drive up prices by bid wars with interested buyers. Never pay over asking price. NEVER. As the buyer, how do I know someone else is interested because I don’t meet them? I am relying on the realtor. Realtor does same amount of work on a $200,000 home as a $2 million home. So it’s in their best interest in upselling. Buyers/sellers be careful who sells your home.

I’d say it’s about time to stop with all the add-ons to Med-Hat utilities. Could someone from the utility department come on here and tell me how I can reduce Service Charge, Administration Charge, Capacity Charge, Facilities usage, going green, Delivery charge, Energy conservation charge, and of course the money grubbers Carbon Charge. I lowered the thermostat trying to save on my usage but what’s the use of being cold when the cash grab add-ons from the utility steal for profits department makes doing this a moot point. Please tell us as we are all ears!!

To any shopper that thinks groceries/housing prices will lower after the pandemic: you are in a long pathetic dream. This is the new normal.

Compare AB to neighboring province of BC. They have 154,000 less covid numbers. Deaths is alarmingly lower at 1,000 or more than AB. So are we in a good position to lay off/fire medical staff? BC population is at least a million more than AB. Alberta taxpayers please pay attention to our leader’s ideology.
