616 Entertainment, formerly VR Junkies, was started by Ken Forbes in 2017 and is Medicine Hat’s first virtual reality location. More recently, the business has expanded to include other entertainment options, such as axe throwing! 616 Entertainment encourages people to spend more time downtown, frequently engaging in partnerships with other local businesses, by providing fun family-friendly options.
The nominator said there are “so many reasons to nominate this fantastic place” and that it’s great “to be together as a family and relax!”
They also describe 616 as “a great place to build relationships and community!”
