Jan 4, 2022 | 8:44 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Skiing may not be on the top of your list considering the frigid weather Alberta is seeing, but the option will be there once again in the Medicine Hat area soon.

Provincial officials say Hidden Valley ski resort will resume operations again Jan. 6 after a delay spanning weeks because of mild weather and a staffing shortage.

The ski hill has been focused on making snow and preparing for the 2022 season.

According to the ski hill’s website, masks are mandatory for all indoor spaces, masks are not mandatory on lifts and lift lines but are encouraged, and lifts do not have to be by cohort.
