City starts tree removal operations

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Crews have begun tree removal operations this week.

In a news release, the City of Medicine Hat says parks and recreation staff, with assistance from Wright Tree Service, are removing dead and/or dying trees throughout the city.

The work is expected to continue until Dec. 15.

People are asked to obey all signs in the area and stay a safe distance from the work.

Tree replacement in suitable locations will be assessed in the future.
