Festive lights going up today

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat will begin installing its festive lights for the Christmas season today.

Lights will be installed throughout downtown, along the Maple Avenue Bridge, on Dunmore Road and in more locations. You can see the full list below.

The city says 354 lights are installed each year to help the community celebrate the season.

People are asked to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the areas.
