Eight acres of land for sale at Medicine Hat Regional Airport

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Several current airport expansion projects are wrapping up and the next phase of the YXH Gateway is developing a new commercial business park.

Invest Medicine Hat is hoping to see coffee shops, gas stations and car rental types of businesses in the space.

Nearly eight acres of land, split up into three parcels, are for sale at the Medicine Hat Regional Airport. The fully serviced sites are part of the city’s Municipal Development Plan and are designated to accommodate a range of commercial uses.

Chris Perret with Invest Medicine Hat says the airport is a gateway to the city and that thousands of cars pass the area daily.

“The whole growth and Municipal Development Plan is for growth in the northwest direction and on the way out to Echo Dale so you’ll see as the city now expands, it will be in this direction and so it will become more and more attractive,” Perret said.

The prices of the land range from $800,000 to $1.7 million.
