Deceased female found, male in custody

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat police say a deceased adult female was found at a residence in the zero hundred block of Third Street SE late Monday afternoon and an adult male is in custody.
According to a brief release from the Medicine Hat Police Service, police were responding to a 911 call when the discovery was made.
They say there is no ongoing risk to the public and further details will be released when available.
The MHPS Major Crimes Section and Forensic Identification Unit continue to investigate.
