N.E Crescent Heights had a grass fire over the weekend. And one of our neighbors took the time to come over and ring the doorbell and a quick knock on the door. While he and some friends were out trying to contain the fire until fire trucks arrived, we don’t get many people doing good things for other’s as we are living in a selfish world right now. You know who you are and we will all have to get together soon for drinks. Thank You again.

Foreign workers replacing staff at the food bank and staff being fired without cause, does our community agree with this? If not then contact the Board of Directors. There are government policies about replacing Canadian workers with foreign workers on short-term visas. Someone’s being allowed to get too big for her knickers.

Volunteers are so much a part of a Community Organization. When we feel exploited by the lazy staff that are left, the core team of staff and volunteers find places together to regroup and do some good. So it’s off we go to help Santa HO HO HO and how HAPPY we are to be together again.

How is it our premier disappears for a month or more to Europe, out of the country during a serious pandemic that he kinda caused on July 1? But God forbid, PM takes a weekend with family and Canada will fall apart?
