Small grassfire near Ross Glen under control

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Firefighters have a grassfire in the coulees near Ross Glen under control on Wednesday afternoon.

Capt. Ryan Pinter of Medicine Hat Fire Service says it was a relatively small grassfire but was difficult to get to because of the nearby Ross Creek and train tracks.

He says it took about three hours for firefighters to get the fire, behind East Glen Crescent, under control.

Pinter said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
