Deadline today for special ballot application

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Monday, Oct. 4 is the final day for people to apply for a special (mail-in) ballot for the Medicine Hat municipal election.

The deadline is 4:30 p.m.

Anyone who will be away from the city during advance polls Oct 9 and 12-16 and on election day Oct. 18 or is homebound due to disability are eligible to vote via special ballot.

Voters using a special ballot must fill out and return their ballot, oath and a copy of identification by 4:30 p.m. on election day.
