Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government is ready to help Alberta with another economic lockdown if needed.
Trudeau says federal support for businesses and individuals would kick in if the province were to decide to shut down to try to bring down its high number of daily COVID-19 cases.
The prime minister says he will be speaking to Alberta Premier Jason Kenney tomorrow.
Kenney, in a weekend radio interview, rejected the idea of a lockdown.
