Greg's Remedy Pharmacy
Trashed online and personally attacked

Pharmacist asking for respect after being harassed online for months

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A local pharmacist is speaking out after being harassed online simply because he offers the COVID-19 vaccine.

Greg Bueckert, owner of Greg’s Remedy’s Pharmacy, offers rapid testing and vaccinations at his pharmacy.

Bueckert says pharmacies are providing a service and aren’t forcing anyone to take a vaccine. But for the last six months, he says he and his staff have dealt with bullying and personal attacks simply for doing their jobs.

“I’ve been trashed online, I’ve been attacked personally, I’ve had most recently, I’ve had someone hide behind a false name giving poor ratings to my pharmacy simply because I spoke out and spoke my own opinion,” Bueckert said.

Bueckert calls the negativity discouraging and wants it to stop.

“It’s great to have a philosophical argument until you see someone needlessly die, there are remedies for that,” Bueckert said. “A vaccine is not perfect but it does help significantly. When you have a run of deaths where all of them, 100 percent are unvaccinated, I think that should be a good enough sign that a vaccine is a good idea.”

Bueckert is asking for respect and his pharmacy will continue to offer rapid testing and vaccines to anyone who wants it.
