Washroom and lighting project starts at Strathcona boat launch

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Construction is starting today on new washrooms and the addition of several light standards at the boat launch area at Strathcona Island Park.
In a release, the city says there may be disruptions to access to some parking stalls and momentary access to the other areas in the vicinity.
The work is expected to be finished by Oct. 31.
Information, as well as a construction boundary map, will be available at the Parks and Recreation administration office.
