Our CAO got a 10% raise, the power plant has made a record profit, over $100 million so far this year, but the City offers power plant personnel 0%.

Ecstatic if anyone could explain to us voters a promise outlined in the conservative platform, which states that within the first 100 days of taking office, they would come to a new agreement on the Canada Health Transfer and raise its annual growth rate to at least six per cent. Key words are “at least”?? This was cut under his ex-boss this much. Why would you increase it 6 years later when times are tougher??

What a waste of taxpayer’s money on referendum questions for municipal voting. Nothing will be done on the results because it holds no water. Premier knows this is a waste. Thinks he is in the federal government still.

Stress test helps the bank, not the customer, not to go into debt. Affordable housing is too expensive to build. No one wants them in their area. How is a house built 30-40 years supposed to be affordable? This has been problem over decades, not last 4-6 years! Just because bank says you can afford x amount of dollars doesn’t mean you stretch yourself to that limit because then you are the one on the street.

Some advice for grandparents, especially grandfathers, do not make comments about your granddaughter’s bodies or appearance! Whether it is meant as a compliment or a concern. Just don’t, it is not your place and you are coming across as a creep!

Pathetic. When conservatives are drowning they pull the “west vs east” tag line of alienation. Voters take note. What do these 3 leaders have in common besides being a conservative? Former PM/MP/Premier ALL born in the east Ontario. Conservative, Quebec. For a province that despises the eastern provinces you sure know how to pick a leader.

I’m confused. Is coming to a complete stop at a stop sign wrong of me? Since when did stop signs become a place to NOT stop? And then the driver behind you grunts, swears and shakes his head. I’m sorry, I don’t feel like losing 4 demerits and getting a huge speeding ticket. Apparently you do. Calm down and follow the rules of the road.
