Telus expands next-gen 5G

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat and Brooks is included in Telus’s upcoming expansion of its next-generation 5G network.

It’s part of a larger $14.5 billion investment in infrastructure and operations in Alberta through 2024.

Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of Telus says the investment will help connects residents to the people, resources and critical information they need.

“Now more than ever, TELUS is committed to keeping Canadians connected, productive and healthy. Indeed, the ongoing expansion of our next-generation 5G technology is bridging time and distance, allowing residents to live and work in any community without compromising productivity or economic opportunity.

According to Telus, by the end of the year more than 70 per cent of the Canadian population could connect to its 5G network.
