Rain mostly eludes Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat did not benefit much from a weather system that dumped as much as 112 millimetres of rain on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.

The airport in Medicine Hat recorded 5.7 mm of rain as of midnight.

By comparison, Calgary got just over 42 mm, there were nearly 45 mm in Claresholm and 29 mm in Bassano.

Elevations higher than 2,100 metres also got some wet snow.
