MH Interpretive Program hosting Perseid Meteor Shower Walk

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Stargazers will be out late on Wednesday turning their eyes to the cosmos.

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is organizing the Perseid Meteor Shower Walk from 10-11 p.m. at the viewpoint at the top of Echo Dale Regional Park. The Perseid meteors are expected to peak over Aug. 11-12.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to call 403-529-6225 to register. Organizers recommend people bring a blanket or chair to watch the show from after a leisurely walk to the viewing spot.
