Local Business is the cornerstone of Medicine Hat and that’s why we’re asking you to Amplify Medicine Hat by nominating local businesses we can highlight and support.

Tilted Tulip is locally operated and owned by Nicole McNaughton, blooming into business in 2018. While Nicole is originally from Calgary, she considers Medicine Hat her home and is happy to have started her business here. On her website, Nicole describes her business as a “small shop” with “big dreams”

The nominator had this to say about Tilted Tulip:

“Nicole and her team are amazing. It takes a lot of courage to start up a small business in your own home, but this team did it and have made a huge name for themselves. They are always willing to bend over backwards for clients and it shows. This is the second year that they are fundraising. This year they are doing bouquet bundles for only $30 each. Last year proceeds went to mental health. This year they have teamed up with U15 Thunder baseball team and the BEEJ Project. All proceeds will be split 50/50. We all know that Medicine Hat has been hit hard with mental health and suicides in the past year, so to see a small local business step up and help projects like the BEEJ project is absolutely amazing.
