Gleichen RCMP investigating reported child luring

GLEICHEN, AB – RCMP in Gleichen are investigating a report of child luring on Wednesday morning.

They say the reported incident on July 28 at about 11:15 a.m on Main Street in Gleichen.

According to RCMP, the preliminary investigation has revealed that an unknown middle-aged Caucasian male approached a 13-year-old male and offered to pay him money in exchange for sex.

Investigators have been unable to locate the suspect in who is described as a male approximately in his 50s with grey hair and blue eyes. He was wearing glasses and a blue-white plaid shirt, dark jeans and a hat at the time.

The suspect was seen driving a newer light-coloured GMC pick-up truck with after-market lights.
