Final days for Stampede Home Decorating Challenge entries

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The return of Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede is a week away but Stampede spirit is already evident in the city.

Entries are being accepted for the Home Decorating Challenge until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The theme for this year is Back in the Saddle Again, a nod to the annual summer fest being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Judging will take place on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

First place wins four tickets to Hunter Brothers at the grandstand on July 31, while second and third place each win two tickets to the show.

There is no cost to enter. Submit your entry to the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Office, during regular office hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A scaled-down Stampede Week gets underway on Wednesday with the Summer Jam and runs until July 31.
